1. English for Business Account and Membership
1.1 Account creation
In order to join an English for Business Online course, you will need to create an account. You will need to provide your first and last name, email address, country, postcode /zip, and other personal information. Your account information must be accurate and current. You must not impersonate someone else or provide information other than your own.
1.2 Purchasing an English for Business online course
a) Payment methods
For your convenience, you can purchase an English for Business course using your credit card. We may add or remove payment methods.
b) Third-party payment processors
Your payment is processed by secure PCI-compliant third-party providers. Your credit card information and bank account details are not stored by us on our servers.
1.3 Trial membership
a) Trial Period
We may offer a paid trial period on an English for Business online course. For an initial one-off payment, your Trial will provide you access to an English for Business online course for a time period specified upon purchase.
b) Limited access
Access to an English for Business online course during the trial may be limited to certain content and may not allow you full access.
c) Automatic payment via chosen payment method
On the completion of your trial, your full membership payment will be automatically debited via your chosen payment method. By providing your payment details, you authorise us and agree to this.
d)Trial cancellation
Your trial membership will automatically upgrade to full membership unless cancelled during the trial period. If you would like to cancel your trial, you can do this in your dashboard. You may be required to fill in a feedback form in order to cancel your trial.
1.4 Payment plan
a) Recurring Payment
English for Business may offer a payment plan option that would include a recurring payment on a set frequency for a set period of time.
b) Frequency of payment
The payment frequency will be specified upon purchase. The payment plan frequency will typically be monthly.
c) Automatic payment via chosen payment method
By providing your payment details, you authorise us and agree to the payment being automatically debited via your chosen payment method at the start of each payment period.
d) Changing payment method
It is your responsibility to keep your payment method up-to-date. You can change your payment method details in your dashboard.
e) Failed payment
We totally understand that sometimes circumstances change. We will notify you via email if you have a failed payment, and let you know when the next debit attempt will be. After 3 failed attempts, your membership will be cancelled and you will be notified via email. We will re-activate your membership if you contact us and make payment within 14 days.
1.5 Subscription membership
a) Recurring payment
English for Business may offer a subscription option that would include a recurring payment on a set frequency.
b) Frequency of payment
The payment frequency will be specified upon purchase. The frequency will typically be monthly.
c) Automatic payment via chosen payment method
By providing your payment details, you authorise us and agree to the payment being automatically debited via your chosen payment method at the start of each payment period.
d) Subscription cancellation
Your subscription can be cancelled at any time inside your dashboard.
e) Changing payment method
It is your responsibility to keep your payment method up-to-date. You can change your payment method details in your dashboard.
f) Failed payment

1.6 Lifetime access
If we provide the option to purchase lifetime access to an English for Business course, your access will terminate if the course ceases to exist.
1.7 Refusal of membership
Joining an English for Business online course is subject to our acceptance and we reserve the right to refuse membership.
1.8 Downtime
English for Business uses third-party tools and services to provide our Site and courses. Access to the Site and/ or a course may be affected by these third parties. You agree that sometimes you may not be able to access the Site and/ or a course and that no action may be initiated against us if there are reasonable delays.
1.9 Refunds/ Money Back Guarantee
a) Money Back Guarantee/ Refund Period
If you have not received value from an English for Business online course, we offer a money back guarantee for a specified period of time. The guarantee time period is specified upon purchase of the course.
b) Non-Refundable Memberships
The money back guarantee does not apply to trial memberships or subscription memberships. No refunds will be provided on a trial payment or subscription payment.
c) Refund Process
If you didn’t love the online course and would like to use your money-back guarantee and receive a refund, contact us at hello@englishforbusiness.com.au.
You will need to provide the reason you were not satisfied with the online course. No refunds will be provided after the specified money-back guarantee period. No refunds will be provided if you have simply changed your mind. Refunds may take up to 10 days to reach your account.
1.10 Termination of membership
We reserve the right to terminate your membership, and or access to certain features of a course, with or without prior notice to you. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice, but we are not required to do so under these terms.
1.11 course descriptions and changes
We try to describe our courses in a clear and concise manner; however, we are human and may make mistakes. We may correct errors in pricing and descriptions. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order made with an incorrect price due to an error.
We may at any time change or discontinue any aspect or feature of a course, subject to us fulfilling our previous responsibilities to you based on acceptance of your payment.

1.12 Community platform access
We may provide access to a community forum or social media platform. Our community platforms are designed to be a safe and helpful space. (It’s simple, be kind!) We may limit or deny access to these platforms for anything we deem inappropriate. We will make reasonable efforts to inform you that you have acted inappropriately and we may take immediate action to remove your access.
1.13 Acceptable use of your English for Business account
a) Purpose of account use
You must not use your account for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
b) Account details
You must not share your account, login details, or password (except with an authorised administrator if necessary). This may result in the immediate cancellation of your membership.
c) Account responsibility
You are responsible for all activity that occurs via your account. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
d) Accounts of other person/s
You must not use another person’s account. An account has a maximum limit of 3 IP addresses (3 devices).
e)Up-to-date/ accurate information
You must keep your contact, payment and other information accurate and updated.
f) English for Business administration use of details
We may use your account information to manage your use and access to a course/ your portal. We will only use your information to access your portal under certain circumstances e.g. to understand an issue or technical error with your account.
1.14 course content
a) Video content within a course
English for Business courses include video content. These videos are provided for your personal viewing only whilst logged in to your account. You must not download, reproduce, or use these videos for any other purpose.
b) Other content within a course
Within an English for Business online course, some content is made available for you to download for your personal use. You must not share English for Business’s content or use it for any other purpose.
c) Transfer, sublicense or granting access to our content
You must not transfer, sublicense, or grant access to an English for Business online course or any of our content. No license to sell or distribute our materials is granted to you or implied.
2. Our Intellectual Property
2.1 Copyright
The content on our Site is copyright © 2021 and owned by us or other copyright owners. The name English for Business and the associated logos are registered trademarks in several jurisdictions together with holding common law trademark recognition.
2.2 Assignment of intellectual property
We do not assign any of our intellectual property rights to you.
2.3 Permitted use of our content
All content on this Site, including within an English for Business course, is solely for your personal use.
2.4 Website design
You must not modify or copy the layout of this Site.
2.5 Data and scraping
You must not use web scraping software or any other method to copy data on this Site.

Cancellation Policy
1. Session cancellation policy – 48 hours’ notice required
1. We understand in this contemporary business world that you are busy with many different tasks and we want more than anything to work with you to give you the best learning experience and outcomes. While we will be as flexible as we can to meet your needs in the best and most convenient way, once a session time has been agreed upon, that time will be blocked out of our calendars for you or your group. We’d rather not be heavy-handed but in order to be fair to your academic progress, goals in achieving your short and long-term goals as well as the running of efficient business structures, we set the following cancellation policy – cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled class will result in the loss of that session.
